Dark Eldar arrived!!!!

Yes!!! Today i received the new Dark Eldar i´ve preordered!
Almost 7 Years all the dark Eldar Players had to wait to get a new Codex and new miniatures. Now they are there!
Finaly they look like what they are: the "evil" version of the Eldar.

 

Can´t wait to unpack these little Devils but i have to wait until tomorrow! Why? The Box is my Birthday Gift from me to myself! ^^ (And my birthday is tomorrow....)

Jawoll! Heute konnte ich meine vorbestellten, neuen Dark Eldar abholen! Ungefähr 7 Jahre lang mussten die Dark Eldar Spieler auf der Welt auf einen neuen Codex und neue Miniaturen warten. Jetzt sind sie endlich da! Endlich sehen sie auch nach dem aus was sie sind: die "Böse " Version der Eldar.

Ich kann es kaum erwarten die kleinen Teufel endlich auszupacken, doch damit muss ich noch bis morgen warten. Wieso? Sie sind mein Geburtstagsgeschenk an mich selbst! Und Geburtstag hab ich nunmal erst morgen! ^^

First Testpaintings for Delta

 

Today i´ve tested a few colourshemes for my Cäsar Deltas. The Details on these Miniatures are great, but painting these little bastards by using the "Choc Flake"-Camo sheme is horrible! (even only painted in "Table Standard!!!!)

Note that the result above is only a test at this time. It don´t represent the "final" sheme i will use for the Guys,

because the Light Green patterns on the clothing did not came out enough and because the Black/white "Flakes" are to rough and too big. 

It was quite easyer to paint one of the Deltas opposites, a Figure of an modern urban resister.

 

He is painted in Table Standard too and because of the big white parts he was fast and easy to paint.

Heute habe ich ein paar Tarnschemen für meine Cäsar Deltas ausprobiert. Die Details an den Figuren sind toll aber sie in "Choc Flake" Camo zu bemalen ist schrecklich! (selbst wenn es nur "Table standard" ist)

Das zu sehende ist noch nicht die endgültige Bemalung weil die blaßgrünen Flecken nicht genug hervorstechen und weil die "Flakes" zu grob und zu groß sind.

Es war weit einfacher einen seiner Gegner, einen Untergrundkämpfer (ebenfalls Cäsar) zu bemalen. Allein schon weil ein Großteil seiner Kleidung nunmal schlicht weiß ist und er ebenfalls nur in Table standard bemalt ist.

started a new Paintjob today....

Today i started a new Paintjob for a Friend. He is the owner of a Webshop for 1/72 scale Miniatures and he asked me,if i could paint actual and new Releases for him, so that he can show painted examples in his shop.
The first Miniatures i received from him are the actual US GI´s in winter clothing from Italerie.

I finished the first test miniature a few minutes ago. Now i can start with the other ones.....

Heute habe ich einen neuen Auftrag für einen Freund begonnen. Er ist Besitzer eines Webshops für 1/72 Miniaturen, und er fragte mich, ob ich aktuelle oder neue Releases für ihn bemalen könne so daß er bemalte Vorführfiguren in seinem Shop präsentieren kann.
Die erste Testminiatur ist eben fertig geworden.... Nun kann es mit den anderen weitergehen.

Hoffe, er kann sich so sehen lassen?

Here is a picture of one of my latest commission paintjobs. A few of 40 british paras i painted for a friend. These Figures are from Italerie and Revell and they were not too hard to paint. Only a few faces were badly moulded and there was some flash to remove.

Hier ein Bild einer meiner aktuellsten Auftragsarbeiten. Ein paar von insgesamt 40 britischen Fallschirmjägern, welche ich für einen Freund bemalt habe. Die Figuren sind von Italerie und Revell und waren nicht allzu schwer zu bemalen. Lediglich einige Gesichter waren nicht sonderlich schön gegossen und es war einiges an Gußgraten zu entfernen.
